Timetable statuses
- Planned
- The service is scheduled later today.
- Boarding
- Departure is close and the train is preparing to leave.
- Running
- The service has departed and is en route.
- Delayed
- The service is running or expected to run later than planned.
- Completed
- The service arrived without a recorded delay.
- Completed delayed
- The service arrived after its planned time.
- Cancelled
- The working will not complete. Unused travel earns no fare, although fare allocated to completed passenger travel before a late cancellation may still settle.

Common train states
- At origin / destination
- The train is at a route terminus.
- En route
- The train is working between termini.
- Awaiting departure / boarding
- The unit is preparing for its next scheduled movement.
- Delayed / awaiting crew
- The train remains serviceable but is not keeping the planned time.
- Fault / awaiting rescue
- The unit has failed and may cancel its current working.
- At depot / awaiting maintenance
- Recovery is progressing but the unit is not available to the timetable.
- Under maintenance
- Planned or reactive workshop work is in progress.
- Stored / available
- The train is not allocated and can provide spare cover or take a new assignment.

Status versus allocation
A train can remain allocated to a route while temporarily unserviceable in maintenance or recovery. The route counts the allocation, but only serviceable trainsets can operate workings.
Watch out
“Assigned” does not always mean “able to run”. Check live state, condition and workshop status when a route is cancelling services.
