v3.10

The Sunset
Update

After four years of continuous development and innovation, we present the final feature update to trainslive.uk.

The Journey

Four years of evolution, three major versions, countless improvements

v1.0 1 January 2022

The beginning

The original version launched after significant development time. Simple but effective - you could view live departures. Though functional, the UI felt outdated even at launch.

v2.0 Late 2022

The learning experience

An ambitious attempt to modernise the UI that didn't go to plan. Full of bugs, horrible interface, and ultimately never finished. Sometimes you need to fail to learn what works.

v3.0+ Late 2023 onwards

The complete rewrite

Built from the ground up with lessons learned. Each version brought meaningful improvements:

  • Tube fare tools
  • Journey planner
  • Tube fare tools
  • Live disruption info
  • Service status history
v3.10 August 2025

The Sunset Update

The final chapter. Five comprehensive new features that complete the vision. From here on, no more new features will be added - only maintenance where required.
