The service status pie charts show the proportion of time LNER experienced good service, minor disruption, or major disruption. These charts cover today, the last 30 days, and this year.
The performance pie chart displays the proportion of services today that arrived on time, were late, or were cancelled/very late. The accompanying line graph tracks how delays or cancellations changed throughout the day.
The route table breaks down the same performance data by route, showing how each route compares in terms of on-time arrivals, delays, and cancellations.
Furthermore, a RAG indicator displays route performance: green if 90% or more of services arrive on time, and red if 80% or fewer are on time. A trend icon is also included, which shows whether the route performance is improving or declining based on data from the past few hours.
In London, the South East, and on regional routes, a service is classed as on time if it arrives within 5 minutes of the scheduled time. For long-distance services, the allowance is 10 minutes. Services arriving later than this are classified as late. If a service is more than 30 minutes late, it is counted as very late.
The Late category only includes services defined as 'late'. It does not include very late services; these are combined with Cancelled services. Due to the data provided by Network Rail, it is not currently possible to separate cancelled from very late services.
