Through tickets to the East Kent Railway (EKR) offer a reduction on the normal separate fares.
The EKR is a short but interesting 30 year old heritage railway running from Shepherds Well to Eythorne.
The railway runs on most Sundays with a limited Saturday service with train times entered in journey planners. Where no times are shown, this indicates that there is either no service or through tickets are not available due to a special event taking place on the EKR
The price is based on a slightly reduced Off Peak Day Return to Shepherds Well plus a reduced rate 'add-on' for the EKR portion, their fares are shown below in the 'Prices' section.
Normal railcard discounts apply to the NR leg to Shepherds Well
Concession fares apply to Senior Railcard holders on the EKR portion.
Reduced rates apply for Rail Staff with privilege concessions for the through journey.
Kids for a quid applies throughout at a cost or £4 to include the reduced EKR travel.
Whilst children under 5 years are free on the NR network child rate fares (£3.50) apply to children aged 2 to 15 inclusive.
Tickets are refundable subject to the normal refund rules applicable to the Train Company from which the tickets are purchased.
