Discounted travel for Visually Impaired Persons and a companion, in First Class and Standard
Ticket Types:
Anytime Single: 34% for Adult and Accompanying Adult
Anytime Return: 34% for Adult and Accompanying Adult
Anytime Day Single: 34% for Adult and Accompanying Adult
Anytime Day Return: 50% for Adult and Accompanying Adult
In a small number of cases where an Anytime Day Return is not available, ticket office staff may issue two equivalent single tickets at 50% discount.
Season tickets for the visually impaired
Visually-impaired people can be issued with one adult Season Ticket to cover two persons - the other for a travelling companion. You will need to produce one the eligibility documents described below. Different companions may travel on different journeys - for this reason only the blind/partially sighted person is named on the ticket. The companion does not require a photocard.
