What is the best value fare?
If you make several Tube journeys, or a mix of rail, bus and tram journeys in one day, the daily cap is better value than a Day Travelcard.
If you do a single week of travelling starting later in the week - for example from Thursday to next Wednesday, the 7-day Travelcard may be better value. This is because there are not enough days up to Sunday to reach the weekly cap - instead you would be charged seven daily caps.
Travelling in a group of 10 or more?
You might want to buy a Group Day Travelcard, which allows unlimited travel for a group of ten or more.
For Adults, it's £11 for Zones 1-6 and £11.60 for Zones 1-9, per person. For under 16s, it's £5.50 or £5.80 each.
Your group must travel together at all times, else you will each be liable for a £80 penalty fare.
